Malmo is Sweden’s third largest city and is located on the coast in the south of Sweden. Through the Öresund Bridge, it is connected to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. The earliest the city was mentioned is 1275.

How to get to Malmö from Copenhagen (Denmark)
The train is the most convenient, but the bus might be cheaper depending on the time.
By Train:
The easiest way to get to Malmö is by train. You can book tickets over sj.se or at the SJ machines at Copenhagen Central Station. It is cheaper to buy from the Swedish train company than from the Danish one. You get a discount, if you buy for than one ticket.
By Bus:
You can also take Flixbus. The bus stop is close to Copenhagen Central Station, but not at the Central Station. You need to buy a ticket online. Google Maps location for navigation.
By Tour:
There are Combination trip Malmö and Lund in one day. You will see a lot and it is a great option if you only have one day. Tours for only Malmö are using bus/train. It is easier/cheaper to organize it yourself.
By Car:
If you want to bring your car, you can drive over the Öresund Bridge. The tickets are quite expensive and I do not recommend this to visit Malmö for a day.
